Pinball Masters returns with "Shoot to Thrill" Sunday 19th August

I was gone for all money after the first 2 balls in the final...
I was working out what mug I liked best...lol...

Was a great day of pin...
Location was top notch
food was good....
and always fun to catchup with fellow pinheads...

Awesome day, thanks to all who attended and travelled long distances to take part. Congratulations to Paul Rollerball Jessep for taking out his first Pinball Masters title. I will be post final positions soon.

Bummer I couldn't make this event, thanks for the write up Wotto, congrats to Paul, and thanks to Scotty for putting an event like this on, heres hoping it gets bigger and better from here on out.

One of the other cool things to come out of yesterday.

Our group of 4 included a young guy from the local area – not a pinhead.
He was a really decent young bloke and started the day as just your average player.
Throughout the day Rollerball gave him some tips on ball saving tricks etc and we tried our best to encourage him to enjoy the day.
He ended up really enjoying himself and he stayed right through to the finals and continued to chat to us until we left.

Just saying it was good to see a non- pinhead encouraged by an event like yesterday

Typical IT guy though...he was the guru with keeping the scores for us....needed to get out in the sun for a bit though....
