ATEI - Amusement Trades Exhibition International - was on last week in London. Plenty of videos of up-coming arcade games and dedicated machines were on display, courtesy of Neo-Arcadia.
Homeland Security and US Border Customs decided to confiscate 168 bootleg Donkey Kong, Scramble, Time Pilot, Frogger and other machines entering the USA from China.
This is quite interesting, as up until very recently the bootleg/emulation scene has pretty much flown under the radar in most countries due to it's niche market. Are we seeing a change in how customs departments view bootleg Chinese arcades?
